We strive to provide gentle and compassionate care for your pet during the ultrasound procedure. Sedation may be needed to minimize discomfort and anxiety. It is helpful to withhold food for 12 hours before abdominal ultrasound examinations. Water should be allowed at all times. Give medications as directed, or check when you make the appointment about giving them.
Dr. Dodd discount her time and services to some animal rescue organizations and Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Control. The scans are helpful to assess pets that may have special needs so that the best home can be found for them.
DVIS is a proud supporter of the Susan G. KomenRace for the Cure, the Sing dedicated to the fight against breast cancer.Dr. Dodd is a member of the Circle Up Team and participates yearly in the 5k run in Charlotte.
