Procedures are performed on small animal patients only
Dr. Dodd performs ultrasound and echocardiogram procedures using a GE Logiq e Vet Ultrasound machine with the following features:
Color flow, CW & PW Doppler
2-12 MHz imaging probes
High resolution and versatility
Power Doppler quantification
B-steer needle recognition for FNA biopsy accuracy
She has taken ultrasound and echocardiography courses at Wake Forest University, Virginia Tech and North Carolina State University Veterinary Schools, Universal Ultrasound, Biosound Esoate, Academy of Veterinary Imaging, and SonoPath.
She is a member of the following: Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, Veterinary Ultrasound Society, International Veterinary Ultrasound Society, AVMA, NCVMA.
